Refund Policy

In the unlikely event that you want to return coffee to Black Cat Coffee, we have set out our Returns Policy highlighting key points that you should know.

Our Returns Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law and provides you with additional benefits in addition to those rights, because your satisfaction is important to us.

Your Rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality.

Where failure does not amount to a major failure, Black Cat Coffee is entitled to choose between providing you with a replacement or other suitable remedy.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by a defined time. However, the Australian Consumer law does recognise that the relevant time period can vary from product to product. With coffee, a product that deteriorates over time, you can appreciate the type of remedy we can offer you may also vary on how long it takes you to return the coffee to us.

For any coffee return, please return by Australia Post. Any cost incurred by you in returning the coffee will be borne by you.

1. Please retain your receipt.

In order to obtain a refund or exchange a coffee purchased from Black Cat Corree, you must have clear proof of purchase.

Coffee Assessment.

  • Once proof of purchase has been established, if the coffee fault can clearly be determined, we will offer you either a refund or exchange.
  • The Black Cat Coffee staff will determine whether a coffee has incurred fault. If there is no fault found, the coffee will be returned to the customer.

2. What should I do if I have changed my mind and want to return a coffee?

If you still have your receipt and it is within 7 days of purchase, Black Cat Coffee will give you, at our option, an exchange or refund, providing the coffee is:

  • in its original condition and packaging;
  • delivery costs will be borne by the customer.

If you meet the conditions above but are returning a coffee outside the 7 day return period, Black Cat Coffee wil NOT offer you an echange or credit.
